Therapy For Teens
Being a teenage girl can be an extremely difficult time, and a time when they face many challenges. Often, they have a difficult time speaking with their parents about the deeper issues they are facing, and can feel that they are misunderstood. This can be frustrating for both her and for her parents. Here are just some of the challenges I have helped my teen clients though:
• Body image, awareness and self-acceptance
• Divorce-related challenges
• Confusion about direction and future
• Friendship dynamics (growing apart, betrayal, conflicts)
• Low self-esteem
• Peer, media & self-imposed pressure
• Social isolation and bullying
• Anxiety
• Depression
• Eating Disorders
